Proudest moment as a coach:
Hard to specify one, so many over the years with many different athletes. Aside from the athletes on a personal level in coaching it has to be becoming National Coach.

Who is your coach?
Myself! Very easy when you just jog each morning!

What’s your main goal personally for this year?
To keep fit & healthy!

What’s your main goal as a coach?
To bring my best to all the athletes I coach and in turn hopefully this will aid in their performances.

What’s your most memorable athletics moment?
Again so many but watching Rob Heffernan on the side of the road at London Olympics chasing an Olympic medal in the 50km walk that was a special day.

What do you like most about Togher AC?
The fact that its a small club and it caters for all levels of ability.

In 5 years time, athletics wise, where do you see yourself?
Still coaching for sure! I am privileged to work with a small group of extremely motivated & dedicated endurance guys & some elite modern pentathletes on a personal level and with some great Regional & National squads on a professional level. I get great enjoyment from working with all of them and helping them become better athletes & people.

Where would you like to see Togher AC in five years time?
Continue its development of its coaching structure, up skilling coaches and bringing in new coaches. Retaining more past athletes in a coaching capacity. Would love to see Rob Heffernan involved after his career is over as he would have a lot to offer.
