KELLEHER AND CASEY IMPRESS AT BHAA 6-MILER

Tony Kelleher changed his attention from the track to the road when competing in the BHAA 6-miler in Ringaskiddy on Wednesday evening last. He was joined on the start line by Jeff Casey who’s has been in great form of late over the longer road-race distances.

Both the lads had fine runs, setting PB’s on what was a tough, hilly course on a windy evening. Kelleher finished in second position in 32.55, losing only to Timmy O’Donoghue, one of Irelands top cross-country runners. Casey was just over two minutes back in 35.10, coming 11th.
