Winning Weekend for Togher AC

Winning Weekend for Togher AC

It’s been a busy few days for the runners of Togher AC – from the wildlife in Fota Wildlife Park, to making waves on the beaches of West Cork there have been some great results to celebrate over the weekend.

Helen Walsh and Olive McCarthy came third in their age category at Eagle AC Fota Cheetah Run on Thursday night with lots of support at the event from other members of the club.

A sunny Friday evening saw some great performances at the Ballymacoda 4 mile road race  by Stephen Lynch, Edward Rhys Thomas, Mike Dennehy and Shirley Twomey, all finishing within one minute of one another. Shirley achieved a PB and first place in her age category.
