Togher AC is committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people involved in the club and in athletics.
Togher AC child welfare policies are in line with Athletics Ireland guidelines as outlined in Children’s First and by the Irish Sports Council.

We are committed to deliver positive athletic experiences to all members under the age of 18 in our club. Our volunteer committee and coaches endeavour to behave as role models in their dealings with young people. In particular, the work of our club Child Welfare Officer, Barry O’Connell is instrumental in implementing our safeguarding statement, the Athletics Ireland Code of Ethics.
