Weekend Review: Double Gold, PB’s & Fun at the County Championships

Another full weekend of events for Togher AC to help acclimatise us for what’s going to be a busy month of competition. As ever, our athletes did us proud, showing true spirit and courage in their endeavours over Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May.

Darkness into Light

Club members Shirley and Pat Twomey, their son Cian and niece Aoife ran the Darkness into Light 5k in aid of Pieta House. This 5k started in the grounds of UCC in the wee hours of Saturday morning. It was Aoife’s first 5k, and it certainly is a 5k worthy of being a first. Well done to you all.
